A few weeks ago, I experienced one of life's greatest joys not as an event planner, but as a bride.

After months of dreaming, designing, and thoughtfully planning every detail, I watched the vision I had carried for so long come to life. Standing there on my wedding day, I was reminded why I love creating celebrations that are both beautiful and deeply meaningful.

But the truth is, my story didn't begin there.

Long before I planned my own wedding, I discovered the beauty of hospitality. I was raised in a home where gathering around the table wasn't reserved for special occasions—it was a way of life. Every evening, my family shared a meal together, and I grew up watching how thoughtfully prepared spaces and intentional moments have the power to make people feel welcomed, celebrated, and loved.

That foundation shaped me.

As the years passed, hosting became second nature. Every birthday celebration quickly became my own creative endeavor, from dreaming up themes and designing invitations to styling each detail with intention. I spent years opening my home for Bible studies, planning dinner parties simply for the joy of gathering people, and finding beauty in the small touches that transform an ordinary event into an unforgettable experience.

I've always believed that the details are never just details.

The palette, the textures, the candlelight, the linens, the florals—each element tells a piece of the story. Individually they may seem small, but together they create the atmosphere, the emotion, and the memories that linger long after the celebration has ended.

Behind every beautifully curated event is a thoughtfully crafted plan. My love for organization is just as strong as my love for design. Timelines, carefully organized binders, labeled boxes, detailed production schedules, and seamless logistics are what allow creativity to flourish. It's this balance of artistry and precision that brings calm to the planning process and confidence to every celebration.
